Patients who had waited long periods of time would have to wait even longer.
 
While Kim Purdy’s long wait for hip surgery occurred before COVID-19, her story (above) provides a glimpse of what many patients will now be going through as they wait even longer periods on waiting lists. The clip above also discusses our new study on Canada’s health care system and how we’re ill-equipped for a second wave. Our new report also takes a look at countries that were found to provide better results, but for a lower cost.
