BRIAN LILLEY COLUMN: COVID leads parents to look for educational alternatives

“To send the kids to school or not to send them to school?
That was the question for many parents this past summer as provincial governments across the country rolled out plans to ensure a “safe September” for school kids in the COVID era.
Turns out a growing number of parents are also asking what kind of school they should send their kids to.
A poll conducted last month by Leger for SecondStreet.org, an advocacy group pushing for greater school choice, found that a slight majority of parents with kids in school favour help for those who choose not to use the public system …”
